Fall is in the air and another juicy crop of the finest oranges and grapefruit will soon be ready for harvest.
Many years ago, in the early 1920's, my family moved to Merritt Island and planted what would become very deep roots in the citrus and gift fruit shipping business. What started as a local roadside stand that shipped a few boxes of citrus up north for family and friends, has grown over the years. We have been honored and privileged to not only offer fine citrus to you, but to also be able to ship countless gifts to so many of your family and friends.
We are happy to announce that Carolina Policicchio, whose picture adorned our catalogs and website for so many years, will celebrate her 94th birthday in November.
We want to make sure that you continue to enjoy the sweetest, juiciest, and tastiest citrus for you and your gifting needs.
Along the way we have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful customers and to work with so many great folks in this industry. One company that we have worked with for many years is a company by the name of Cushman Fruit Company. Whether it be sharing trucks or even helping each other out if one ran low on the day's fruit, we have had a great relationship with them. Cushman's has been packing and shipping fine fruit since the 1940's and shares the same standard of excellence that we do. The folks at Cushman's will pack your fruit in the future. In fact, they packed and shipped many of the gifts you sent last year.
